Maintenance and Support Services
Our PC, Network Maintenance and Software Support offerings are designed around preventing service outages, as opposed to fixing problems after the fact. This proactive approach insures higher system uptime, better productivity, and fewer business interruptions. 4IT's goal is to make your information systems as reliable as any of the other utilities that you depend on for the operation of your business.
4IT's Maintenance Agreement features include:
Full on-site repair service: This service is for the repair and resolution of any and all hardware or software issues that cause service outage. One component of 4IT's service contract is the complete documentation of the customers IT infrastructure. This allows 4IT to create a complete on-site and remote troubleshooting and recovery process tailored to your environment.
Monitoring and Maintenance of your Networks: Your network is the road data travels on. We need to keep these paths open for growth and make sure it is protected. With high-speed Internet connections, there is a need to secure and monitor your Internet traffic, protecting your network, and safeguarding your customers' information keeping both from being compromised.
Preventive Maintenance Programs: Backup/Recovery procedure development for all PC and Network systems, remote virus scanning and updating. Identifying the components of your data systems that would be labeled "critical" and building a contingency plan to rebuild those systems in the event of a disaster.
Stand-by Equipment: With the identification of critical hardware/data, we create similar equipment on stand-by for your environment that will allow us to get your company's network operational. This feature is important to our customers because most small to medium size companies operate in a single server environment.
Imaging: We provide a service that will allow you to recover from a local hard-drive failure by storing an image of your system offsite. When needed, we restore the image, which will have your operating system, applications and data at that point in time. An example of the functionality would be this scenario;
1. PC is imaged on 1/10/2002.
2. Data is backed up daily.
3. PC is attacked on 4/15/2002 by a virus that destroys the operating system.
4. 4/15/2002 we restore the PC operating system from the image and update the data from the daily tape.
As you can see with the combination of the image and tape backup we are able to recover quickly.
Meetings: We need to understand your business to effectively run ours. These meetings could be scheduled on a quarterly basis or more/less frequently depending on need.
